TRAINING AGREEMENT

COVID-19 UPDATE

We continually update our services and provision to accommodate our clients in line with Government Guidance. Please regularly check this Training Agreement, our website and Facebook for subsequent updates. We must all follow the guidance below as per CIMSPA and UK Athletics Guidelines.

DO NOT ATTEND if you are unwell for any reason, please consider the other members of the class and cancel out of the class where necessary.  Just a cold to you may mean someone else is more acutely unwell if they succumb.

Pre-Booking: All persons attending the Hub and outdoor services need to be booked in to prior to attendance. Please do not attend without a booking. Bookings open a week before the class date and closes 3 hours before the class is due to start.  All booked attendees will be given guidance prior to attending if they need to bring anything or if the venue changes.

What to Bring: You must wear INDOOR SHOES (i.e. clean, dry shoes) when using the Hub, please bring them with you and change when you arrive.  This avoids the floors getting dirty where others may lie or put their hands.

Starting on time: We need to start our classes on time as other clients need to finish on time and we have commitments before and after every session. We reserve the right to refuse entry to the Hub if you are late. It can be unsafe and disturb others to have Members walking through the Hub once sessions are in progress.

Personal Items: Please keep personal belongings to a minimum, this avoids trip hazards in our limited space. Personal items that are not in your pockets should be placed in the designated trays or coat hooks provided when in the Hub.

First Aid: For outdoor classes you should carry your own first aid provision with you a basic plaster/small dressing should suffice. Other items may be required - please check individual classes on the bookings page for details.

Cleanliness: Spray disinfectant and reusable cloths are provided for the cleaning of equipment after use.  You are welcome to clean them before use too.  All equipment is cleaned after use by our clients to keep a good level of hygiene.

Fitness Classes

Payment of single sessions, blocks of 10, and membership options should be made by visiting ‘plans and pricing’. This page can be accessed by visiting the ‘Fitness Classes’ page under ‘Services’, on the JP Fitness Cornwall website.  Or using the Fit by Wix app.

Single Sessions: Purchased as a one-off payment. Can be used for one single session only and expires after it’s single use (when purchased via Pricing Plans). Valid for use within 1 year from the date of purchase. If purchased via the 'Purchase a session' tab, it expires on purchase and cannot be used at a later date. If you cancel your booked class with less than the required notice, you will forfeit your session. Cannot be cancelled/refunded once purchased.

Blocks of 10 sessions: Purchased as a one-off payment. Can be used for 10 single sessions only, but do not have to be taken consecutively. Valid for use within 1 year from the date of purchase. Cannot be cancelled/refunded once purchased.

Memberships: Purchased as a recurrent, monthly payment. Can be used for one calendar month from the date of purchase, relative to the membership type. Valid for use immediately from the date of purchase. The membership will automatically renew on your anniversary date (date of purchase). For cancellations YOU MUST contact us in writing at least 3 days before your membership is due to renew. If you have cancelled it yourself via a PayPal/ your bank, YOU MUST tell us immediately to avoid a dispute being raised if they do not cancel it correctly! We will give notice of any planned holiday, but it remains your responsibility to manage your membership. We will not refund/reimburse any membership you have not cancelled. It may still be better value for you to keep your membership subscription, but you have the option to cancel it and purchase single/block sessions instead.

VIP Memberships were offered to supporting clients throughout the Covid-19 lockdown period and gave Members the benefit of a fixed price Membership for the duration of the ongoing Membership. Cancelled VIP Memberships will not be reinstated after cancellation and therefore a new non-VIP Membership would need to be purchased.

Non-VIP Memberships are subject to price increases. Should you decide that you did not make good use of your membership, under no circumstances will it be transferred to use at a later date, and classes you have attended, paid for by other means (e.g. single sessions).

Cancellations/Waiting Lists: If less than the required notice is given, or you do not turn up to any given session, you will be charged in full, and your ability to pre-book classes may be suspended if frequent insufficient notice is given. 8 hours’ notice is required (so your place can be offered to someone on a waiting list). To cancel your place, log in to your online account, or via the mobile app. This can be done at any time before the session starts, however the above cancellation policy still stands. You may choose to add yourself to the waiting list if a class is fully booked (only available on the app). You will be notified should a space become available. If you miss this notification within the given time frame, the system will automatically offer the space to someone else. If you are more than 5 minutes late for a session, the Instructor reserves the right to refuse you entry as this disturbs the class. JP Fitness Cornwall reserve the right to cancel any fitness class where only 2 members or less are booked in.
